National Park e-Books is a 50 year old publishing company focusing on books about United States National Parks and Monuments. The goal of the project was to deliver their titles digitally, but in a way that would also help their customers (the national park stores) make money. The entire solution consits of five web applications that all communicate with one another via WCF Web Services. There is an Admin Portal which allows for administrators to manage the system's data. A Customer Portal exists to allow for e-Book purchasers to redeem activation codes and gain acces to their respective e-Book(s). An online store also exists to allow users to purchase e-Books online. An Affiliate Portal was also built so that affilate stores can monitor and track any commissions they may have from any purchases in the online store.
