Web and service-based solution built on ASP.Net MVC
National Park e-Books is a 50 year old publishing company focusing on books about United States National Parks and Monuments.
The goal of the project was to deliver their titles digitally, but in a way that would also help their customers (the national park stores) make money. The entire solution consists of five web applications that all communicate with one another via web services.
A Customer Portal was developed to allow for e-Book purchasers to redeem activation codes and gain acces to their respective e-Book(s).
An online store was created and setup to allows users to purchase e-Books online. Utilizing nopCommerce for the ecommerce portion of the solution, we integrated it into the rest of the solution through nopCommerce's API
In order to allow administrators to manage the system's data, an Admin Portal was developed.
An Affiliate Portal was also developed so that affilate stores can monitor and track any commissions they may have from any purchases in the online store.
